Our Founder
Dr. Malual Ayom Dor
Malual Ayom Dor is the founder of the two schools. He is a graduate of King’s College London, a constituent college of the University of London, with a doctorate and a Master’s of Research in War Studies (2010-2017). Prior to KCL, Malual studied at Makerere University, Uganda (Master’s Degree in International Relations and Diplomatic Studies), and at the United States International University Africa, Nairobi, Kenya (Bachelor’s in International Relations). He is currently a final year student of Laws at the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Malual has held various positions academic and military positions throughout his career.
Stuart Herd
Stuart Herd is a Nairobi-based businessman, who first started investing in South Sudan in 2004.
Stuart has been supporting the two schools since inception, and has recently donated the materials required to help set up the classroom facilities for the Michael Majok Memorial High School.
David Walker
David Walker has been supporting the Bor Schools from Day One.
David is a long-time investor in South Sudan, and has helped to build the schools from the ground up with significant year-on-year financial support.
David has helped to cultivate the schools’ vision with Malual and Stuart, converting educational ideas into a practical reality for thousands of students.
WLC & JALL
Warehousing Logistics Company & Jebel Aviation Logistics, both companies incorporated in South Sudan, have contributed financial and in-kind resources to the schools during the course of 2021 and 2022.
Technical expertise for the construction of the secondary school has been provided by the companies' engineering teams, as well as logistical and operational support.
